High level goal:
I had the opportunity to work closely with the marketing and product teams, contributing to the development of compelling campaigns aimed toward new potential users, for an all-in-one software solution catering to video and podcast editing needs.
High level problem:
While working alongside the dynamic and innovative team at Descript, I embarked on an exciting journey during a pivotal phase of the company's growth. As a young and emerging start-up, we collectively embarked on a mission to discover and define the distinctive voice and identity of the brand. Ultimately, the brand's intrinsic adaptability and flexibility stood out as its most appealing feature, capturing a new generation of consumers searching for an innovative and cutting-edge approach to editing tools.
One of my key responsibilities involved creating mock-ups for advertisements to be deployed across platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, with notable exposure through an ad campaign for Microsoft. Through a process of iterative design, I diligently incorporated feedback to refine and enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of these materials, ensuring they aligned with the desired objectives.
